General information
Personal data is any data that can be used to personally identify you. We process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TDDDG, BDSG) and only insofar as this is necessary for the respective purpose.
This website is transmitted encrypted via TLS/SSL (recognisable by the “https://” in the address bar). This means that data transmitted between your browser and our server cannot readily be read by third parties.
Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (44 Montgomery Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA) as a processor. When the pages are accessed, the server automatically collects so-called server log files that your browser transmits:
- anonymised or shortened IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- page/file accessed and amount of data transferred
- browser type and version as well as the operating system used
- referrer URL (the previously visited page)
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically flawless, secure and stable provision of the website. This data is not merged with other data sources.
Since Netlify may also process data in the USA, we base the transfer on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission (Art. 46 GDPR) and, where applicable, a certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Fonts (locally hosted)
This website uses exclusively locally hosted fonts. All fonts are delivered directly from our server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other external font CDN. When the page loads, no IP address is therefore transmitted to a font provider and there is no data outflow to third parties.
Contact form and inquiries
When you send us an inquiry via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide in order to handle your request. Depending on your input, this includes in particular: name, email address, phone number, wedding or desired date, place/venue, type of service requested and the content of your message.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR insofar as your inquiry is aimed at concluding or performing a contract (pre-contractual measures). In all other cases, and for the optional consent checkbox, we rely on Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent), which you can revoke at any time with effect for the future.
Your data remains with us until the purpose of storage no longer applies — for example when your inquiry has been finally processed and no statutory retention periods apply — or you ask us to delete it or revoke your consent. Inquiries are currently transmitted exclusively by email to the owner; storage in a database (planned via Netlify / Neon) is intended for the future.
Cookies and consent
In its delivered state, this website uses exclusively technically necessary cookies. Necessary in particular is a cookie that stores your choice in the cookie banner so that you are not asked again on every visit. The legal basis for this is § 25 (2) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Cookies or comparable technologies for statistics or marketing are only set if you explicitly enable them in the cookie banner (opt-in). The legal basis is then your consent under § 25 (1) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time via the cookie settings with effect for the future.
Reach measurement with Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) for reach measurement. It is loaded only after your explicit consent via the statistics option in the cookie banner. Without that consent no script is loaded, no cookie is set and no connection to Google is established. IP anonymisation is active, and Google Consent Mode stays on “denied” until consent is given. The legal basis is § 25 (1) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
The processing may involve a transfer to Google LLC in the USA; Google relies on the EU standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can revoke your consent at any time via the cookie settings with effect for the future — the measurement then stops immediately. No Meta pixel or comparable marketing service is in use.
We link to our Instagram profile. This is a simple link — no Instagram content is embedded directly on this website. A data outflow to Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. therefore only takes place once you actively click the link and open the platform instagram.com.
Meta alone is responsible for the subsequent processing on Instagram. The privacy terms of Meta/Instagram then apply.
