Further afield
Part of my work doesn't happen at Lake Constance — but wherever couples place their day, because the place belongs to them.
Destination weddings beyond the lake · Best time: By your calendar, not mine

The place
Destination doesn't automatically mean long-haul. It means the place is part of the story: your grandparents' village, the coast where you met, the city you live in. Photographically I work there just as I do at home — I get to know the place the day before and then let it help write the images.
The light
Unfamiliar light needs lead time. That's why I travel a day early where possible, walk the routes and see where the sun stands when. It's the most important part of the preparation and happens before the first frame exists.

Does that sound like your day?

Practical
Travel and accommodation I clarify individually and transparently for every wedding. What it costs depends on the place — we discuss that openly before anything is booked.
