How the work is done here.
At the end of a book stands the colophon: paper, typeface, binding, edition. This page is its counterpart for my work.
Most questions couples have before booking aren’t about style but about craft: how long does it take, what happens to the data, what if something goes wrong.
Those answers don’t belong in the small print but on a page of their own.
Before the day
Most of the work happens beforehand.
I look at the place, go through the schedule with you and, where needed, with the celebrant. I check when the sun sets on your date and place the couple portraits there.
For places I don’t know, I travel a day early where possible. It is unspectacular and it makes the difference.

On the day
Two cameras, available light, no flash in people’s faces.
I work with two bodies — not out of preference but because a failure mid-ceremony would otherwise be the end of it. Every frame is written to two cards at once.
I take the light as it is. Flash comes out at most on the dance floor in the evening, never on faces in the middle of something.

Afterwards
Development, delivery, safekeeping.
After the wedding I edit in my own time. You receive a private online gallery to view, download and share.
The raw files are kept with multiple backups, one of them off site. Edited images go to you only, not to third parties — anything published on my site or on Instagram happens only with your agreement.

If something goes wrong
That belongs written down too.
Illness, accident, total equipment failure — rare, but it happens. For that case I work with colleagues who can step in at short notice, and I tell you immediately rather than sit it out.
